About Us
The AMT Foundation is a private 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization based in Minden, Nevada, established in 2011 with a mission to support education, scientific research, the arts, and charitable causes that promote community wellbeing and cultural enrichment. With over $2.7 million in assets and a history of supporting initiatives in areas such as medical, biological, and engineering education, ceramic arts, aviation heritage, and scientific tissue bank development, the Foundation strategically partners with organizations that align with its vision for impactful, long-term benefit.Driven by a commitment to meaningful stewardship of resources, the AMT Foundation invests in programs that broaden opportunities for learning, foster innovation, and sustain creative and scientific pursuits both locally and nationally. Although the Foundation does not typically accept unsolicited grant applications, it actively engages with selected grantees whose work reflects its philanthropic priorities in education, cultural preservation, and scientific advancement.

Our Story
2011
Foundation Established
AMT Foundation was established in Minden, Nevada as a private nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting education, science, engineering, and cultural initiatives.
2012–2015
Educational & Aviation Outreach Support
The Foundation supported aircraft and aerospace education initiatives, helping promote aviation history awareness and STEM learning opportunities for students and community members.
2014–2018
Biomedical & Materials Innovation Support
AMT Foundation contributed to projects involving advanced biomaterials, ceramic materials research, and medical device innovation, encouraging the translation of materials science into healthcare applications.
2016–2019
Ceramic Arts & Cultural Programs
The Foundation provided support for ceramics education and artistic programs, fostering craftsmanship, technical artistry, and community engagement in fine arts.
2020–Present
Scientific Research
In 2023, the Foundation provided a $10,000 grant to the University of California, San Francisco.
Recently, the Foundation began evaluating advanced material technologies for environmental applications, including hydroxyapatite-based stabilization methods for hazardous and radioactive waste management.
